Not yet!

It has been a bit of a roller coaster ride this morning:) First, let me say please pray for birth mom as at this very moment I'm writing this she is in pain and not liking it. She is not dilated at all. I am sure (from experience) that the pitocin is making the contractions come but not changing the body. We induced one child for 2 days and it was a long 2 days.

I hadn't received any call by 10 a.m. so I called the case worker to find out what she knew. She wasn't encouraged by the lack of communication she had received from birth mom and felt she may have changed her mind. She had called several people involved and was not finding anything out and didn't want to call me with bad news. I was able to send out a couple prayer requests and as I was keeping phone lines open for news I didn't call a lot of people. I started praying against the spiritual attack that I felt was there. The kids and I prayed too and then Jordan came in from chores and she started praying. Not very long after the caseworker called and had found out that it still looked like birth mom was on the adoption plan but hadn't had the baby yet. She will call the hospital about 6:30 p.m. (5:30 our time) tonight and see what is happening and then call me with an update unless she gets a call sooner than that.

Lord God, Heavenly Father I lift up to you this young girl in pain and ask for your comfort and peace to come upon her and give her strength in her time of need. I pray for you to put a hedge of protection around her and those involved in this birth. I pray for any negative thoughts about this adoption to be cut off from affecting the placement of this baby in our home. Bind Satan and his workers and keep them from doing harm. I praise you for your answers to prayer this morning and praise you for helping us to see you in all of this. Thank you that I know you are there and listening and waiting to comfort and give us your peace. May all this work for Your Glory! Amen!

found your blog through Laura over at Stepping out of the boat...
I don't know why I feel the need to post this, but if you are coming to the upstate of SC to receive your blessing, please let me know. I would LOVE to help you out in ANY way I can. God knows what your needs are, and I am here to assist Him in meeting them if you are going to be in our area.

I'm praying for your family, as well as the delivery of healthy babies.

Hi there!!

Praying for you!! Love checking your blog, knowing that any moment you will be the new Mama to two new babies!!

We are traveling in 9 days to get our girls! Sounds like we will both be 'delivering' our two babies in a very close time range!! *smile*

Blessings, Justine
