In school the kids and I are studying Philippians and we were uncovering the stone about praying. It had the kids start their own prayer lists. During the lesson I encouraged the kids to put one name per day and we would add more later. Of course this didn't work as they went busily adding names to different days. Well, how uplifting to this weary mother to wake and find her kids with their prayer lists out praying and adding more names. Isaac added his brother to every school day not just one day. He knows so well that his brother needs prayer every single school day. He should add me to that right along side of him since I am the one most challenged by this. But this difficult child got up this morning and made us all breakfast, apple muffins. He is now cleaning up the kitchen after it. He can be so changeable.
Has anyone read the Maker's Diet? I got it quite a long time ago from a friend and scanned it but picked it up yesterday and it is really very good. The young man's story of healing from an incurable disease is amazing and God's working in his life. The intro told a scenario that is right from my life, waking up but not feeling like you slept, feeling achy and generally not good and wondering where those extra 30 pounds came from since getting married, wanting to eat right but not really feeling like it. I want so much to have more energy!! I am going to slowly incorporate this eating plan and I'll let you know what happens. God Bless You in your day!

Hey, this is Erin again-I hope I am not annoying you by telling you these things-when I hear of situations it always gives me hope that yes there are babies being given up and yes my day will come-so if this is how you feel too great! If not-please feel free to tell me- I promise not to be offended!lol! So I am on a yahoo group for AA/Domestic adoption and sometimes other people post situations that they have heard of-so I am going to share one with you because I gather from your blog that you can't afford a thirty thousand dollar adoption (neither can we!) So here is the situation I am going to cut and paste it here hopefully it works
"I am just posting this on behalf of Hands to Hold. Please feel free
to contact Jamie directly if you are interested.
We have a new opportunity to share with you:
¾ African American ¼ Puerto Rican
baby BOY Born 9/20/2007
Full term – Healthy pregnancy
BM in Ohio is making an adoption plan for her 4 month old baby boy.
She has struggled since he was born to parent him but she finds
herself unable to provide for his needs. She lacks the financial and
emotional support to be able to care for him. She wants what is best
for him and she feels that placing him with a wonderful family is her
only option. She is a 19 yr old single parent. The BF has never
been involved with baby nor has he ever provided for him. Under Ohio
law since he has had no involvement with this child since birth, his
rights will automatically be terminated.
The BM would like a Married Traditional family with no other
children. She would like the family to be Christian and live in a
State surrounding Ohio. She would like the family to support a semi-
open adoption plan with letters and pictures following placement.
The fees associated with this opportunity are approx $12,000 (or less
depending on income). These fees are not due until placement. This
does include agency related fees, estimated legal's for termination
in Ohio and our fee. They do not include travel cost. The family
can finalize in their home state. Families must be home study
ready. The expectant mom is asking to view profiles.
Please let us know if you would like to be considered for this
opportunity.
Have a wonderful evening!
Jamie

Erin, I have checked on the website a couple of times. I haven't registered with them though. I appreciate your comments, I never really know should I leave a return comment here or email you but here I'll try it. I keep waiting for our agency to find someone for us. They have our names in at several places. Thanks for commenting. I should take the step and register with them.
What an interesting book. I would love to have you follow up.
