I'm Back!

Hi, by my site meter I can tell readership of my blog is decreasing day by day. No wonder, since I am never on here and it seems that nothing happens to me anymore. Well, I'll see if I can give you all some more to read about today! Well, I got back with my mom and my brother's three kids Wednesday night before 10 p.m. Our plane was able to leave early and had good weather. A very pleasant surprise from our estimated time of arrival at 12 midnight. I got to see all my kids and give them the goodies I found for them.

My brother is now a married man and I couldn't be happier for him. We had a very busy 5 days walking everywhere!! Wow, my muscles were well used. There are things to do in Vegas that don't involve gambling. Each hotel has some neat attraction to grab you. Ours had a lion habitat. New York, New York had an outdoor rollercoaster, Circus Circus had circus acts, etc. There are many places to eat, mostly very expensive but it was nice not to make any meals. My mom and I roomed together and spent most of our time together. I was in our room by about 9 p.m. each night and enjoyed having some time to myself like that. I loved having a cell phone and calling home often and calling Kevin. It was great to keep in touch.

Things I didn't care for: smoke everywhere you walk in the casino part, we were near the airport (I had a hard time sleeping), people passing out cards for unsavory things, $3 bottles of water, billboards and ads with scantily clad people. Ugh!
There were 23 people who came for my brother's wedding. Getting everyone on the same page each day was challenging but none of us had any pressing engagements. Monday was the wedding and we ended the day with a supper at the Hard Rock Cafe. I had the most delicious Fajita Burger.

The house was very clean when I got here!!!!! I was so happy. I do have about 12 loads of laundry because Kevin had the laundry room ripped apart putting down tile and the project wasn't going well for him. He tried very hard to get it done before I got here but just couldn't manage it. He has half the tile to lay, then the grout. It will get done, when is a good question? I am very happy with the children and even though there were some challenges and fighting Jordan felt it went very well and everyone is well-fed and there were no injuries! Praise the Lord for that and for safe travels.

Stay tuned! This post got long so I'll quit here but I do have some news to share about our adoption and other things!
