Instead of going to the graduation we worked around the yard, mowing the lawn, planting onion sets, celery, and more peas. Every time I went into the high tunnel and looked out I saw these beautiful flowers. They look so exotic, like they belong in Hawaii. These sure brightened up my day!
It's strange that this clematis grew so sporadically with one side completely covered and the other side not.
Jordan planted cilantro, parsley and basil today in the newly expanded herb garden.
I love decorating with old, scavenged equipment. Kevin brought home the old mower on the left, my mom's old push tiller is on the right, an old tractor seat on the far right and the newest acquisition is in the middle on the other side. I can't remember where he got it from, on top of a building. He also got the gate that is in the middle quite a few years ago and it's finally found it's permanent home. We scavenged the bricks from a junk pile. It's one of my favorite gardens to walk by.
Kevin dug some poles into the goat's pen to see if the goats would climb them. In Wisconsin years ago we went to a Wilderness Zoo that had poles that went several feet in the air and the goats would jump from one to the other until they were high above us. We don't have one so high as they did but it's fun to watch Ada jump up here and jump back off.
Having fun on the merry-go-round! Emily Anna!
Cheesy Lena! She saw me take a pic of Emily and had to get in on the action!
